Kirsten Oates, based in California, USA, is responsible for managing this website’s contact list and the personal information collected for updates about the forthcoming book by James Finley and Kirsten Oates.
Information collected and why
When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your name. The signup form is provided by MailerLite, which stores subscriber details and subscription status. We use email confirmation to check that you want to join the list.
Your permission allows us to use these details for occasional book updates. Signing up does not add you to a coaching or unrelated marketing list. You can read this website without signing up.
Hosting and email services may process connection and device information to deliver and protect their services. MailerLite may also record email delivery, opens, and link clicks to provide email reports.
Service providers and access
The website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare. New signups are sent to MailerLite to manage book subscriptions, confirmation emails, welcome emails, and occasional updates. For information about its handling of subscriber data, see MailerLite’s privacy policy.
Earlier website signups remain in a separate Cloudflare database, accessible through Kirsten’s private management page. They have not been automatically transferred to MailerLite. Kirsten can download these records to manage book updates.
Your choices and removing your signup
You can stop book emails using the unsubscribe link included in them. If you signed up before MailerLite was connected, your earlier personal removal link still works for that website record. You can also request removal by email below.
For questions, access to your information, corrections, removal requests, or help with the website, email coaching@kirstenoates.com. Please use the email address you signed up with so we can identify your record.
Deleting a record from this website does not automatically delete copies previously downloaded or imported into another service. Those copies need to be removed separately by the person managing them.
How long information is kept
Subscriber details are kept to manage book updates until removal is requested. An unsubscribe status may be retained to prevent unwanted future emails. Earlier website records remain until deleted. Service-provider backups and operational logs may have separate retention schedules.
Cookies and links
The book page embeds a MailerLite signup form. That service may use cookies or similar technologies to operate its form and measure activity. Podcast links take you to a separate website with its own privacy practices. Hosting and account sign-in services may also use operational cookies.
The book page does not carry out advertising tracking and does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal.
