Kirsten Oates, based in California, USA, is responsible for managing this website’s contact list and the personal information collected for updates about the forthcoming book by James Finley and Kirsten Oates.
Information collected and why
When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your name. We also record the date and the wording of your permission to receive book updates, and create a private identifier that lets you remove your signup.
Your permission allows us to use these details for occasional book updates. Signing up does not add you to a coaching or unrelated marketing list. You can read this website without signing up.
The signup service also uses a temporary identifier derived from your network address to limit repeated submissions. These records expire after at most two hours and are cleared during later signup activity. Hosting services may process connection information to deliver and protect the website.
Service providers and access
The website uses ChatGPT Sites and a Cloudflare database to store the contact list. The management page and download are restricted to Kirsten’s signed-in account. Providers process information to operate their services.
Kirsten can download the list to manage book updates. An email newsletter service has not yet been connected, and this website does not currently send or verify emails. This notice will be updated to identify the newsletter service before it is used.
Your choices and removing your signup
After a new signup, a personal removal link appears on the confirmation screen. Save that link if you’d like to remove your details later. It does not require an account: opening it asks you to confirm before deleting your record from this website.
For questions, access to your information, corrections, removal requests, or help with the website, email coaching@kirstenoates.com. Please use the email address you signed up with so we can identify your record.
Deleting a record from this website does not automatically delete copies previously downloaded or imported into another service. Those copies need to be removed separately by the person managing them.
How long information is kept
Signup details remain in the contact list until the signup is removed. The list is intended for updates about this book. Temporary security records are described above. Hosting-provider backups and operational logs may have separate retention schedules.
Cookies and links
The book page does not embed advertising trackers, analytics tools, or podcast players. Podcast links take you to a separate website with its own privacy practices. Hosting and account sign-in services may use cookies necessary to operate their services.
The book page does not carry out advertising tracking and does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal.
